Who the heck is Patronus?
Patronus Renovation is led by the dynamic duo of Jennifer Duggins and Brannon Burnley. These two met on a Wednesday and liked each other quite a bit. As it turns out, they both had a passion for urban hikes and old neighborhoods being brought back to life. Together they’ve logged tens-of-thousands of walking miles looking at architecture and design in cities from San Francisco to Dallas to Denver to London, Paris and every borough in New York (yes, including Staten Island…hey, it was pretty nice). They’ve also likely spent tens of thousands of dollars on subscriptions to home renovation magazines. Ok just kidding…that’s mostly her.
Jennifer spent her whole life remodeling things beginning with a Barbie Star-Traveler Motorhome, treehouses on the farm where she grew up and mouse mazes. She even once made a working stove from cinder blocks so she could cook her dog’s Gainsburger. Eventually graduating to doing remodels and renovations in the adult world for herself and her friends, Jennifer dreamt of having a fix-and-flip business before a popular television station with the initials “HGTV” made it famous. Today, Jennifer is the female design mind of Patronus Renovation, overseeing all projects and making sure that beauty is only created and restored, not destroyed.
Brannon is an engineer and architecture lover. He spent his childhood studying Math and more intellectual pursuits than how to cook a Gainsburger on CMU. Where Jennifer is the brawn and maybe a little bit of the wildcard BITCHES! (an It’s Always Sunny reference for folks not in the know), Brannon is the brain. He keeps the project and the budget from taking a brakeless ride down a steep and windy path ending in disaster. Brannon helped Jennifer’s dream of fix-and-flip become a reality as the initial investor and shared owner of Patronus Renovation. He also helps make vital design decisions and is equally invested in historic restoration.
Together, these two can come up with a way to make a vision reality within a workable budget. No project is too big if there’s love and some ingenuity involved.
